Go Kashmir ("we", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app uses and how. In short: Go Kashmir does not require an account, does not collect personal data on a server, and does not sell your information to anyone.
Location (only if you allow it): When you use a planning feature that offers "Use my location," the app requests your device's location to suggest nearby places and travel times. Your location is used on your device only, in that moment, to build your plan. We do not store your location, send it to our servers, or share it. You can decline location access and still use the app by choosing an area manually.
Information stored on your device: The app saves your trip plans, preferences, and reminder settings locally on your device (using your browser/app storage). This data stays on your device, is not uploaded to us, and you can clear it anytime by clearing the app's data.
Maps: The app displays maps using OpenStreetMap. When map tiles load, your device contacts OpenStreetMap's servers, which may receive your device's IP address as part of standard web requests. Please see OpenStreetMap's privacy policy for details.
Sponsored listings: The app may show a sponsored local listing (for example, a guesthouse). These are static promotions shown within the app; they do not track you.
Routing/travel data: Travel distances are precomputed and bundled with the app. Routine map and content loading happens over the internet like any website.
Go Kashmir is a travel app intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
